...Η σχεδιαζόμενη και αυτοαναιρούμενη μορφή που σημασιοδοτεί τις ογκοπλαστικές μεταμορφώσεις της ύλης, εμφανίζεται στις φόρμες της Μαρίας Χρηστέα ως δραματουργικά παρουσιαζόμενη λειτουργία αντιθετικών δυνάμεων στον χώρο. Η εσωτερικευμένη δομική άρθρωση των προγενέστερων έργων της, μετασχηματίζεται, στην νέα αυτή σειρά κατασκευών της, σ’ έναν εξωτερικευμένο διάλογο υφής, τόνων, δονήσεων και υλικών...
